The Opportunity:
Do you want to shape the training and education programs to enhance the development of our nation’s space warfighters? As a Professional Development and Joint Education Manager, you know that the way forward for joint space operations training and professional development is critical to the joint force. Through coordinating across the Department of Defense, whole of government partners, and academic partnerships, you will be instrumental in forging critical relationships within the space community. We have an opportunity for a Professional Joint Education and Training Manager who is committed to solving some of the toughest challenges in Joint space operations.
On our team, you’ll work with space SMEs across the entire space enterprise to capture your customer’s training needs and develop requirements to help them accomplish their mission. This may include program goals and objectives, such as course design and development strategies, delivery processes, technology enabled learning enhancements, and processes. Putting the learner at the center of the training experience, you’ll design mission-specific education and training plans and curriculum for new course requirements at various military and academic institutions, and coordinate with the Joint Staff to ensure space warfighters receive the necessary training to accomplish their mission. You’ll use your understanding of staff officer processes to participate in joint-staff level working groups and operational planning teams. You’ll facilitate engagements with academic partners, government agencies, and international partners. You know communication is key, so you’ll meet with space operators and the clients training partners throughout the process to discuss requirements and incorporate feedback. You’ll build your leadership skills as you share your expertise through leadership and mentoring. As a leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to build solutions to your customer’s learning needs.

You Have:
3+ years of experience in designing, planning, rehearsing, and conducting Space Training
Experience on a Combatant Command (COCOM), Joint, Service, or a Major or Field Command staff
Ability to identify, develop, and deliver solutions for training and education shortfalls
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience in the development of space training requirements at the combatant command and service level
Experience in the development of space courseware and providing instruction
Ability to research and identify military and civilian professional development opportunities
Ability to design, plan, and conduct combatant command-level working groups
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
