Anti-Tamper Technology Protection Engineer

Key Role:
Perform system design, analysis, and reverse engineering to support technology protection and anti-tamper efforts for Navy and DoD programs. Support activities in research, design, analysis, prototyping, reverse engineering, and vulnerability assessments. Conduct investigations and experiments of complex hardware and evaluate capabilities to provide required products or services. Develop new techniques and capabilities and support the analysis of advanced electronics for hardware security requirements. Prepare and review engineering and technical analyses, reports, and other technical documentation. Present technical findings to senior government technical experts and decision makers.

Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience as an engineer, including designing or debugging hardware or software solutions as part of product development or R&D to solve real-world challenges
-3+ years of experience with developing technical solutions and writing whitepapers
-3+ years of experience as part of an R&D team focused on developing hardware, software, or cyber solutions
-2+ years of experience with programming and scripting languages on both Windows and Linux platforms or analysis and development software, including MATLAB and LabView
-Experience with general lab test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, data acquisition systems, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, or lab computers
-Knowledge of hardware and software development
-Knowledge of system design, integration, and prototyping
-Ability to conduct investigations and tests of considerable complexity and evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services
-Active Secret clearance
-BS degree in EE, CS, Material Science, or Physics

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with performing reverse engineering, vulnerability assessments, or penetration testing on systems, subsystems, modules, and components
-Experience with failure analysis tools, or specialized lab test equipment, including LVP, OSM, ESM, FIB, or DMA
-Experience in working with Agile development
-Experience with ISO or a related process control system
-Knowledge of anti-tamper
-Knowledge of Cybersecurity methods and solutions
-Knowledge of FPGA, microcontrollers, or advanced microelectronics
-Knowledge of a digital and analog modulation schemes or semiconductor manufacturing processes and methods
-Ability to estimate and cost engineering activities accurately
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-MA or MS degree preferred; PhD degree a plus
