Program Analyst

Key Role:

Support federal health research and development (R&D) organizations, including the Advanced Research Projects Agency – Health (ARPA-H), as a Science, Engineering, and Technology Adviser (SETA) supporting operations with the agency’s nationwide health innovation network. Coordinate and execute hub projects, initiatives, and deliverables and serve as a super-connector between the federal agency, the consortium management firm operating each hub, and the network members across the country. Work with the client lead and consortium management firm to plan, execute, and track projects through the network. Support the client lead in developing, tracking, and applying success metrics at network and project levels, from design of new projects or partnerships to long-term visioning. Execute on a range of hub and spoke network and project implementation tasks, including helping to develop workplan outlines, review deliverables from hubs or spokes, compile meeting agendas, document meeting outcomes, create email templates, and coordinate with the consortium management firm. Coordinate ways to leverage the network to serve client projects and efforts, assist with the development and coordination of immersive experiences in support of client programs and program managers, and develop and improve processes for hub execution. Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing logistics, and drafting follow-up emails.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience with health sciences, medical technology, or biomedical research

  • Ability to be detail-oriented and proactive and strive to anticipate the needs of clients

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and customers at all levels

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with working for an Advanced Research Projects Agency, including DARPA

  • Experience with supporting senior government personnel

  • Experience with design methodologies, including Human-Centered Design, Design Thinking, and Lean Launchpad

  • Possession of excellent organization, coordination, interpersonal, research, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,100.00 to $119,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
