Job Description
Key Role:
Manage, administer, support, and enhance cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution. Apply specific functional knowledge, including working and general industry knowledge. Hone skills using the latest cloud technologies and improve client’s environment with container software to ensure seamless orchestration. Introduce new methodologies to assist establishing and automating DevOps pipeline, including application performance monitoring, CI/CD cycles, infrastructure, and configuration management. Investigate and resolve technical issues, provide level 2 technical support, perform root cause analysis for production errors, build tools to improve customer experience, and develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems. Design and develop systems and evolve them with applying the latest advanced technology and industry best practices.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience managing applications and resources in a virtual or containerized environment
Experience writing scripts, such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell
Experience implementing scripts to automate administrative tasks in a cloud environment
Experience troubleshooting network or configuration problems in a containerized environment
Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, or Terraform
Knowledge of Linux and Windows environments
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience deploying containerized applications using best deployment strategies
Experience configuring NGINX or Istio
Knowledge of DoD cloud environments
Knowledge of DoD RMF NIST 800.53 r4
Experience working with an Agile development team
TS/SCI clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
