As a platform DevOps engineer, you know how to build, manage, and secure a container platform that meets your clientsâ needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. What if you could use your cloud platform skills to improve time it takes to get critical tools developed and into the hands of end users? We need you to help us develop and manage container management software to solve some of our client toughest challenges.

On our team as a Platform DevOps Engineer, youâll use your development experience to streamline our cloud development lifecycle from requirements to monitoring in production. Youâll use the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your clientsâ environments with current container software to ensure seamless orchestration. Using your technical knowledge, youâll work directly with your clients to inform strategy and design, while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process with Docker

Youâll recommend tools such as Rancher to help your clients manage and securely adopt containers. Additionally, youâll broaden your skills in areas like containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud-based architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware), DevSecOps, CI/CD pipeline development and administration, and more.  while developing critical cloud platforms for our client

You Have:
4+ years of experience with building, deployment, release automation, or orchestrationÂ
Experience with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud PlatformÂ
Experience with supporting cloud applications or infrastructureÂ
Experience with infrastructure-as-code environments, including activities around the automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, or monitoring and testing, including continuous integration and continuous delivery Â
Experience with Docker, OpenShift or KubernetesÂ
TS/SCI clearance
HS Diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
Experience with identifying and implementing automation to improve user experienceÂ
Experience with scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or RubyÂ
Experience with system integration using a variety of protocols, including JSON, REST, and XMLÂ
Experience with leveraging JSON, YAML, or XML for configurationÂ
Experience with the OWASP Software Assurance Maturity Model (SAMM) or DevSecOps Maturity Model (DSOMM)Â
Cloud certification, including AWS, Certified Solutions Architect Associate Certification, Google Certified Professional â Cloud Architect, or MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individualâs particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,000.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allenâs total compensation package for employees.Work Model
