Acquisition Program Manager, Lead

The Opportunity:

Are you looking for an opportunity to support pre- and post-award DoD contracts? You know that both sides of the acquisition and contracts lifecycle are pivotal to a clients’ missions. As a DoD acquisition management professional, you’ll work closely with our client in support of the warfighter, the interagency and global users, aiding in the acquisition of vital capabilities for optimal end strength and ensuring that their mission is executed rapidly in the dynamic threat environment our nation finds itself in today. We’re looking for someone like you be on a team of strategic communications, strategic planning and acquisition experts and be an acquisition liaison to the government.

This is an opportunity to directly influence and impact on our national defense acquisition and contracts process. As a DoD acquisition management professional, you’ll oversee full RFP packages, including acquisition strategies, and participate in strategic communication plans. You’ll oversee the development of procurement request packages and be responsible for the safe storage and handling of sensitive documents. You’ll provide acquisition expertise regarding all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting each project’s success. From building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders to obtaining concurrence, you’ll lead meaningful acquisition support.

You Have:

  • 15+ years of experience with DoD acquisition planning, program, project, and proposal management, and business operations
  • 15+ years of experience with RFP process and compliance policies, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with Military Communications and Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) technologies and systems
  • Ability to interact well in cross-functional team meetings and professional environments
  • Ability to interface with internal and external customers
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Completion of PMT 401 Course

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with the military C4ISR systems
  • Experience with the DoD acquisition system
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Possession of excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Master’s degree
  • Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) Program Management Level III or higher certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
