Communications Strategist Planning

Key Role:

Serve as a member of strategic communications team to develop strategic messaging to support senior level civilian client's internal and external stakeholder engagements. Work closely with various levels of government and contractor teams to support internal and external strategic communications tasks and deliverables. Provide strategic messaging and product development for deliverables including presentations, whitepapers, speeches, newsletters, congressional requests, and executive level data visualization materials for inclusion in client collaborative tool development.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with writing and editing executive communications deliverables, including speeches, memos, bullet background papers, and presentations

  • Experience with DoD acquisition planning or program management

  • Experience with working in fast-paced environments

  • Experience with support to senior Air Force leadership and various level of clients

  • Experience with using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with federal and DoD organizations, including several Military C4ISR systems

  • Experience with DoD Acquisition System

  • Experience with identifying and assessing customer needs

  • Experience with presenting recommendations to product owners based on findings

  • Experience with internal and external client interface

  • Knowledge of Government Acquisition Program Management

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Master's degree

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $106,200.00 to $242,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
