As a systems engineering planner on our team, you will work with Booz Allen colleagues to develop and deploy the next generation of resilient Missile Warning (MW), Environmental Monitoring (EM), and Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (TISR) capabilities to deliver critical information to our warfighters to quickly win or even prevent future wars. Your client will trust you to develop Systems Engineering Plans (SEPs), System Integration Plans (SIPs), Integrated Master Plans (IMPs), process improvement recommendations, design review technical packages, and other technical planning and reporting products. You will grow your skills by researching new requirements, technologies, and threats and using innovative engineering methodologies and tools to create tomorrow’s solutions.

You Have:
4+ years of experience with practicing and executing systems engineering processes
4+ years of experience working on a space, ground, software, or hardware system Major Defense Acquisition Program
Experience with developing systems engineering plans and processes
Knowledge of systems engineering standards, including IEEE 15288.1 and IEEE 15288.2
Ability to comprehend complex technical problems where capabilities are affected by technical achievability, affordability, and schedule
Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or IT
Nice If You Have:
Experience with performing systems engineering, integration, and testing on space-based remote sensing systems, including SBIRS, Next Generation OPIR, FORGE, STSS, HBTSS, DMSP, WSF-M, and EWS
Knowledge of DoD 5000.01/02
Knowledge of Agile Methodologies
Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
TS/SCI clearance
Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or IT
INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification, including ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
