The Opportunity:
As part of your role, you will provide Operations Management and Support. You will provide direct operational support to the one-star officer and GS-15 deputy, ensuring smooth operations across the client's Cybersecurity Directorate (CSD). You will also coordinate and manage staff efforts, ensuring alignment with mission priorities, and ensuring tasks are executed on time. As well as manage the flow of correspondence, meetings, and documentation, ensuring proper editing, formatting, and timely distribution of key policies and reports.
You will be responsible for assisting with policy editing and process improvement which will require you to collaborate with senior leadership to develop, refine, and analyze policies related to cybersecurity governance and digital transformation initiatives. You will also provide strategic advice on process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in cybersecurity frameworks and governance. Additionally, you will assist in developing strategic plans and ensure that they are aligned with Army objectives and priorities.
A major part of your responsibilities will be Cybersecurity Oversight and Compliance. This involves the review of policies supporting cybersecurity reform initiatives, focusing on areas like Zero Trust integration, RMF, and audit readiness (ICAM). You will also review policies to contribute to developing strategies to address gaps in cybersecurity compliance and network policy, ensuring alignment with Army goals.
You are required to perform operational coordination and prioritization. You will also coordinate and prioritize competing demands from various stakeholders, ensuring timely execution of key mission objectives. As part of the coordination, you will facilitate communication across departments and teams, ensuring leadership is informed of the operational status, progress, and roadblocks. The goal is to help streamline decision-making processes and ensure efficient resource allocation.
As part of the overall mission, you will support the alignment and execution of the client's digital transformation strategy, ensuring priorities related to network modernization, process reforms, and technology adoption are effectively executed. Your goal is to assist in facilitating the transition away from legacy technologies and championing the adoption of new solutions to improve performance and cost-effectiveness.
A foundational element of the cybersecurity workforce development as required, you will identify skill gaps and resource needs within the Army's cybersecurity workforce and assist in developing training and recruitment strategies. As required, you will collaborate with industry, academia, and allied partners to help attract, retain, and train top-tier cybersecurity talent for the Army’s future needs.

You Have:
- 15+ years of experience in a National Security work environment
- 15+ years of experience with military operations, organizations, culture, and processes
- 10+ years of experience with HQDA staffing processes and procedures
- Experience in operations management, policy analysis, and leadership
- Ability to understand and work within cybersecurity frameworks such as Risk Management Framework (RMF) 2.0, Zero Trust, Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and government compliance standards
- Top Secret clearance
- Master's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience drafting and presenting complex reports and documents to senior leadership
- Experience in successfully managing teams, prioritizing tasks, and executing high-stakes initiatives in fast-paced environments
- Ability to support policy development and process improvements related to digital transformation and cybersecurity efforts
- Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possession of excellent interpersonal skills, including working effectively with senior personnel, and external stakeholders
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
