That’s why we need you, a policy specialist with the expertise required to analyze the policies that determine our cyber resilience.
As a cyber strategic planning and policy development consultant on our team, you’ll lead the assessment of the Army's cyber policies, the coverage of those policies, and areas of risks. You’ll evaluate how policies stack up to regulations, best practices, and industry standards. As you guide your client through understanding acceptable risk and availability, you’ll advance the development of a strategic cyber roadmap. You’ll work in a consultative role to ensure the client operates securely as they navigate an evolving IT environment. You Have:
- 5+ years of experience working in Cybersecurity disciplines
- Experience with cybersecurity policy at the Federal, DoD, Joint, and Army levels
- Experience with staff coordination across the Army
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products
- Ability to brief senior leaders
- Ability to conduct research and analysis on cybersecurity policies and procedures to determine risk and mitigation
- Ability to coordinate with stakeholders across the DoD
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
- DoD 8570.1M Cybersecurity Technical level 2 or IA Management level 1 Certification
Nice If You Have:
- Experience in the military
- Possession of strong written and verbal communication skills
- Possession of strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Possession of strong leadership skills
- Master’s degree in a Cybersecurity field
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
