Information Operations Planner

The Opportunity:

As an Information Operations Planner you use your specialized functional, technical, and military experience to coordinate, monitor, and assess current and future operations to give your client the actionable plans and recommendations they need. If you have excellent analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support our warfighters and protect our national security.

As an Information Operations (IO) Planner you have the opportunity to fill a variety of roles, including providing reachback support, serving on an IO Field Support Team (FST), evaluating IO FST readiness, or supporting a wide variety of other IO planning efforts. This is a chance to grow your expertise and broaden your skillsets into areas like cyberspace operations, military deception, and Electronic Warfare and CEMA. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you’ll have resources to learn new skills and tools. You Have:

  • Experience with Current Operations or Plans, including Future Operations or deliberate planning

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • HS diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience with IO or an IRC, including PSYOP and MISO, COMCAM, CA, PA, EW, CEMA, or STO or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience with IO or an IRC, including PSYOP and MISO, COMCAM, CA, PA, EW, CEMA, or STO

  • Formal Information Operations (IO) or Information Related Capability (IRC), including Psychological Operations (PSYOP) and Military Information Support Operations (MISO), Combat Camera (COMCAM), Civil Affairs (CA), Public Affairs (PA), Electronic Warfare (EW), Cyber Electro-Magnetic Activities (CEMA), or Special Technical Operations (STO) Training

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience as an IO Planner or on a Field Support Team

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
