Commercial Solutions for Classified Network Engineer

The Opportunity: 

A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable agencies to achieve their mission, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their current and evolving needs? Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and software, requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. That’s why we need you, a network engineer who knows how to craft the exact network the DoD needs.

As a network engineer on our team, you’ll help the DoD evolve remote access networks to support national security systems. You’ll work with SMEs and Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) engineers to learn the strategic goals and operational needs that shape the network requirements. You’ll then plan the system design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the network components. From resolving interoperability issues across platforms, to supporting the acquisition of hardware, you’ll put your hardware and software talents to good use.

You Have: 

  • Experience with architecting and designing complex DoD network systems

  • Experience with Aruba and Cisco

  • Experience with supporting and or leading the design, test, and deployment of DoD systems or solutions

  • Experience with implementing certificate-based encryption on network devices

  • Experience with developing CSfC solutions and supporting the maturation of CSfC capability packages

  • Knowledge of routing protocols, including RIP, EIGRP, MPLS, BGP, and OSPF

  • Knowledge of PKI implementation, including X.509 Certificates and Certificate authorities

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience in coordinating with the commercial mobile industry to assess mobile technologies for the U.S. government

  • Experience with working in classified spaces to implement network solutions

  • Experience with implementing certificate-based encryption on network devices

  • Experience with configuring and deploying Type-1 encryption devices

  • Experience with leading and developing CSfC solutions and supporting the maturation of CSfC capability packages

  • Knowledge of CSfC capability packages

  • Ability to initiate, manage, execute, and report tasks independently

  • Ability to communicate complex network principles and designs to clients

  • CCNP Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,400.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
