Job Description
Key Role:
Serve as a Joint Fires Observer (JFO) trainer and integrator to develop and conduct classroom training to prepare client personnel for Joint Fires Observer qualification and sustainment. Support other units, as directed by the client. Integrate gaming and simulations solutions into the Joint Fires training program. Train unit fire support leaders on the operation of gaming and simulations to enable unit leadership to develop and conduct unit sustainment training. Integrate gaming and simulation solutions into mission and key leader rehearsal for live fire training exercises.
Basic Qualifications:
5 years of experience as a JFO to provide training
Experience with using simulations to support training
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Access, and Word
Ability to show JFO Form 8 or Currency Log forms
Ability to show an acquired military rank of E6 or above
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
Experience as an SME instructor at a service school
Experience as a Fire Support Liaison with Brigade or higher staff
Experience as a Fire Support Master Gunner
Knowledge of Virtual Battle Space 3, Virtual Battle Space Fires, and Call for Fire Trainer
Ability to make a good company impression
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possession of excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
Bachelor's degree
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $49,900.00 to $102,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
