Job Description
Key Role:
Work as a Dismounted and Direct-Action (DA) Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Subject Matter Expert and maintain responsibility for developing and implementing training on Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP) on standard and non-standard EOD energetic and mechanical tools used during dismounted or mounted in support of DA, Joint Forcible Entry (JFE), and raids. Demonstrate the employment of traditional and emerging tools and explosive systems during DA EOD operations in a training environment. Plan, develop, execute, and assess activities in DA EOD-focused exercises, including realistic scenario planning, development, implementation, and execution of exercise tools and controls. Develop training to accommodate classroom and hands-on practical individual and collective task training for DA EOD forces. Create and edit training plans, including implementation and evaluation of DA EOD tasks, techniques, and procedures used during dynamic, DA military support operations.
Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in the U.S. Army
- 4+ years of experience supporting DA dismounted unilateral EOD procedures
- Experience with military training methods and techniques
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Completion of a Naval School EOD Course
- Completion of a Foundational Instructor or Facilitator Course or the Booz Allen Facilitator Training Course within 120 days of hire
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with curriculum training development
- Experience producing written reports and evaluations
- Experience with advanced homemade explosives, types, employment, and effects
- Experience with CBRN operations
- Knowledge of CIED principles, including enablers, site exploitation, and search in support of military units
- Knowledge of CIED equipment, including handheld detector operations and CREW devices
- Knowledge of DA EOD support logic tree
- Ability to prepare and present briefings at a company level and higher
- Bachelor's degree
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,300.00 to $149,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
