Battle Rhythm Manager, Senior

Key Role:

Provide input and develop plans, tools, and processes to implement a Command-wide Battle Rhythm Management (BRM) approach. Conduct Battle Rhythm (BR) training for the Command, including training of Operational Planning Teams (OPT), Joint Planning Groups (JPG), Crisis Action Teams (CAT), and other cross-functional organizations and functions prior to all Tier I exercises. Develop and host brown bag sessions on BR processes and tools, develop virtual BR training resources, and develop additional BR training formats as requested by the client. Develop web-based tools and pages to support the BR processes. Produce a BR Portal user guide to define the purpose of BR, and provide easy-to-understand instructions on how to contribute and search for information. Support execution of BR processes by assisting with the conduct of the BR Working Group and BR Management Board by preparing briefs, meeting minutes, and providing meeting logistics. Document implementation of BR processes, establish performance metrics of BR processes, and collect those metrics data annually providing trends by comparing current and previous data collections, and make recommendations to the client on BR process changes to enhance support to the BRM effort.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Program or Project Manager

  • Experience with Battle Rhythm processes and cross-functional organizations, including OPTs, CATs, and JPGs

  • Experience working with senior military officers, including General/Flag Officers and government civilians

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • Bachelor's degree in Program Management, Business Management, Economics, Political Science, Engineering Law, Contract, Finance, or Accounting

Additional Qualifications: 

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and SharePoint

  • Knowledge of Combatant Command or Joint Staff meetings and teams

  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail

  • Possession of excellent organizational skills

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Possession of excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
