As a system engineer on our team, you’ll have the chance to design engineered, model-based systems in support of the design and development of secure systems for the DoD. You can identify and implement ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface, supporting our DoD clients in the analysis, engineering, planning, and strategy development related to threat, analysis, and architecture. You’ll lead a team and develop your skills in model-based systems engineering and digital engineering while gaining experience in solving client problems as we go through a critical approach to network design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions, to maintain a balance of security and mission needs. You Have:

• 5+ years of experience with systems engineering
• Experience with defining security requirements, security assessments, and security recommendations using industry standards as reference models
• Experience with performing in agile teams to support requirements development, modeling, design, development, and test of systems
• Knowledge of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools, including MagicDraw or Enterprise Architect to develop and document UML or SysML system architectures
• Knowledge with using scripting tools for computational modeling, including Python or MATLAB
• Knowledge of designing, developing, implementing, or integrating IA and security systems and system components
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Cybersecurity tools and emerging technologies, network topologies, intrusion detection, PKI, 5G, or OT and SCADA
• Experience with weapons systems security assessments
• Knowledge of the DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
• Knowledge of DoD software test planning and execution practices, DoD modeling and simulation verification, validation, and accreditation practices
• Ability to interact directly with clients to identify problems, analyze data, generate solutions, and communicate results
• Object Management Group Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP) or International Council on Systems Engineering Systems Engineering Professional (INCOSE ASEP) Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
