Engagements Administrative Specialist

Key Role:

Receive, evaluate, and coordinate staffing actions for requests for members of the Command to attend or speak at various internal and external engagements with the directorates, special staff, and executive aides, as appropriate, in a timely and effective manner, including ensuring that all pertinent staff members are apprised of information. Ensure all Speaker Request Forms are complete and use them to produce the Command Engagement Request Form to coordinate support determinations with the proper and complete information. Coordinate key engagements for Command leadership, as required. Keep engagements database, clearly denoting the status of each request along with where it is in the coordination process and the final determination to or not to support the event. Leverage communication expertise to solicit engagement and visit information and materials from event organizers, including biographies, engagement details, event atmospherics, and media. Initiate action to provide end-user support and perform complex administrative duties.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 10+ years of experience with office administration

  • Experience with coordinating events, including speaking engagements

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, SharePoint, and Confluence

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph 

  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in working with senior-level military staff, General and Flag Officers, and Senior civilians (SES)

  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail

  • Possession of excellent organizational skills

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communications skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $49,800.00 to $102,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
