Network Engineer

Key Role:
Plan, design, implement, and maintain data and voice telecommunications systems. Perform a variety of engineering studies and analysis and recommend hardware and software improvements to the overall network design. Study traffic to determine optimal system configurations. Apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments and contribute to the development of new ideas and principles. Solve uniquely complex problems while working under consultative direction.

Basic Qualifications:

-15 years of experience in providing technical leadership for the IP network design and implementation of physical and logical communications solutions with network-wide impact

-Experience with establishing data center communications infrastructure and network management elements

-Experience with the design and implementation of Type I and Type III cryptographic architectures

-Knowledge of fiber optic communications, switched networks, network management, and network control systems

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Active Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certification, including CCNP Data Center and CCNP Routing and Switching or ability to obtain within 90 days of start
