The Challenge:
As a network engineer on our team, you’ll work with the DoD to design, build, and evolve a reliable network to support critical missions. You’ll collaborate with SMEs, customers, and end-users to learn the strategic goals and operational needs that shape the network requirements. You’ll then share your expertise during the planning of acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the network components. From resolving interoperability issues across platforms to supporting the acquisition of hardware, you’ll put your hardware and software talents to good use. You Have:
5+ years experience with network engineering
Knowledge of designing, analyzing, configuring, implementing, or troubleshooting complex network architectures
Knowledge of routing protocols, including one of the following network technologies: BGP, OSPF, RIP, MPLS, VRF, VLAN, IP Multicast, IP QoS, or IPSec
Knowledge of leveraging tools to analyze network traffic and troubleshoot network-related performance issues
Ability to record and document drawing network topologies
Ability to comprehend and create technical writing documents
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
Experience with DoD network operations and DoD network architectures
Experience with Cisco and Juniper platforms
Experience with ASA, Palo Alto, and other firewall platforms
Experience with cloud network deployments, including AWS or Azure
Knowledge of existing DoD network services or network implementations
Knowledge of DoD satellite communications architectures
Top Secret clearance
BA or BS degree
IAT Level II Certification
Clearance:
