Collective Training Strategic Planner, Senior

As a Collective Training Strategic Planer you will provide collective training planning support to the Army's training centers and associated programs for unit readiness and modernization. Daily you will coordinate with stakeholders to synchronize and resource combat training center (CTC) rotations, Warfighter exercises and other collective training requirements. Additionally, you will analyze, coordinate, and document collective training programs and strategies as related to the Training Guidance, higher headquarters’ regulations, and other training guidance and policies. You will conduct an analysis of collective training programs to identify improvement areas and make recommendations to enhance collective training strategies, resources, and execution. You will also manage databases, programs, and other planning tools to inform collective training strategies and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to develop collective training Concept of Operations (CONOP) plans, Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M), near and long-term calendars, Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA), Organization and Operations (O&O) documents, and other collective training documents, briefs and presentations to support ReARMM and the Army Synchronization and Resourcing Process (ASRP). You will plan, coordinate, facilitate and document collective training meetings and working groups to synchronize activities in support of CTC and MCTP training events. And you will understand and integrate the use of Mission Command Systems, other Battle Command Systems, Training Aids, Devices, Simulations and Simulators (TADSS), mission-specific digital systems and tools, and Instrumentation Training Analysis Computer Simulations and Support (ITACSS), and other available assets in the conduct of exercises.

You Have:  

  • 8+ years of experience in training with the Army at division levels

  • Experience with using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC)

  • Ability to contribute to written strategic plans, briefs, and presentations for senior military leaders

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience at a Combat Training Center (CTC), Mission Training Complex (MTC) or the Mission Command Training Program (MCTP)

  • Experience with planning or supporting CTC rotations or Warfighter exercises

  • Experience with organization resourcing and programmatic activities, including Total Army Analysis (TAA), Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA), and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) submissions

  • Experience with exercise design and control of Joint, bi-lateral, and multi-lateral exercises

  • Experience with LVCG training environments, including situational training exercise (STX) and command post exercise (CPX)

  • Experience with Army Mission Command Networks and Systems (MCNS)

  • Experience in the Indo-Pacific theater

  • PMP Certification

  • Graduate of a War College, CGSC, or Battle Staff Graduate

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $106,200.00 to $242,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
