Logistics Management Specialist

As a Logistics Management Specialist (LMS), you’ll utilize the Acquisition and Cross-Service Agreement (ACSA) and support leads to obtain information for Logistics Support, Supplies, and Services (LSSS) directly from or to Partner-Nation to meet U.S. Forces support requirements. You’ll execute tasks to plan and implement Host Nation Support (HNS) through implementation of ACSA Orders, apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge to interface with the sustainment enterprise to identify gaps in Partner-Nation LSSS support, and convey a comprehensive operational understanding of resource issues involving ACSA support to the theater. You’ll develop innovative solutions to complex problems, work without considerable direction, and work towards synchronizing planning efforts across the Army Staff, Joint Staff, operational units, and foreign agencies to execute bi-lateral and multi-national logistics support where applicable.

You Have:  

  • 5+ years of experience with logistics serving as an Officer, Chief Warrant Officer, or Senior Non-commissioned Officer at the Brigade level or above

  • 3+ years of experience using ACSA and ACSA-Global Automated Tracking and Reporting System (AGATRS) in support of military operations

  • Experience with implementing logistics policy and procedures compliant with higher headquarters and service guidance

  • Experience working in an Army Distribution Management Center (DMC) at the Brigade level

  • Experience with developing sustainment plans

  • Experience with using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Ability to communicate and present written and orally at a level commensurate with a general officer staff

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:  

  • 8+ years of experience at the Brigade level or above

  • Experience as Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 51C Contingency Contracting Officer (CCO)

  • Experience with the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP), Army Design Methodology (ADM), and Joint Planning Process (JPP)

  • Knowledge of USINDOPACOM policy and strategy and USINDOPACOM TCP/TCO, OPLANs, CONPLANs, and Theater Security Cooperation Plans, including linkages to parallel national interests

  • Top Secret clearance

  • Master’s degree

  • Graduate of a Command and General Staff College (CGSC), Intermediate Level Education (ILE), or Battle Staff Course

  • Skill identifier ASI 3C Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
