Proposal Coordinator and Quality Advisor

The Opportunity:

The proposal process is the backbone of government consulting. As a proposal professional, you know the organization’s ability to win contracts is largely based on your efforts. We need a proposal expert like you to use your contract management, communication, and strategic planning skills in our proposal development process, where you’ll make highly visible impact.

On our industry-leading team, you’ll work collaboratively with leadership, technical staff, and contract and pricing specialists. You’ll use your skills in requests for proposals (RFP) solution development, management plans, transition plans, proposal writing, and budgeting to present status of proposal preparation, coordinate working sessions and color team briefings, conduct full reviews of RFPs, prepare proposal compliance checks, maintain a collaboration site for proposals, perform final reviews of proposal documentation prior to submission to the government, and coordinate proposal submission. You’ll manage proposal components, including technical management, staffing, cost, and past performance experience.

You will become the local site power user of the Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) tool, an enterprise-wide, centrally managed opportunity tracking system that maintains future proposal activities, for the local office. Your responsibilities will include data entry, validation, and maintenance. You will be the local office Quality Advisor (QA). You’ll integrate Booz Allen ISO 9001 and AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS) into certified projects in coordination with project teams.

You Have:  

  • 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Knowledge of proposal preparation
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree  

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience in ISO 9001 and AS9100
  • Experience working closely with business area operations, business development leads, and pricing leads to ensure the alignment of technical, management, and cost and price strategies
  • Knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
  • Knowledge of the DoD and military contracting activities
  • Ability to communicate status regularly to proposal managers and firm leadership, and produce schedules, templates, and other proposal documentation using Microsoft Office
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication and business skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
