Modeling and Simulation Analyst, Mid

As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to analyze combat threat systems in support of the DoD acquisition and testing cycle. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize aircraft, and multi-domain systems to successfully operate in complex threat environments. You’ll develop your skills in modeling and simulation, critical thinking, and data analytics while gaining experience in evaluating combat operations. You Have: 

·       4+ years of experience with Modeling and Simulations

·       Experience with using tools, including Excel, MATLAB, Python, or Perl to process raw simulation output data to collect metrics

·       Ability to apply Operations Research (OR) principles, theories, and concepts to execute analytical assessments

·       Ability to apply critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving expertise to execute analytical tasks

·       Ability to mentor junior modeling and simulation analysts and provide team leadership

·       Ability to obtain a security clearance

·       Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics

Nice If You Have: 

·       Experience in a UNIX or Linux command-line environment

·       Experience with using RStudio or MySQL to design and execute queries to extract data from SQL databases

·       Knowledge of Air Force and foreign weapon systems, including aircraft, missiles, or air defense systems

·       Knowledge of Air Force concept of operations (CONOPS) and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)

·       Ability to derive and communicate key concepts from large amounts of raw analytical data

·       Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

·       Secret clearance

·       Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
