The Opportunity:

As a Defense Missions expert, you’ll bring your subject matter expertise as you lead a team on projects for the U.S. Air Force and other DoD organizations. You’ll lead efforts to modernize air operations capabilities. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, processes, and procedures to accelerate delivery of key capabilities critical to USAF and joint mission objectives.
You’ll oversee the work we do for the Department of Defense and the solutions we deliver for military missions, strategic planning, defense mission planning, and national defense strategy.
You served your country as a seasoned O4 or above — now, continue your mission with us. Further your career with us as you help solve complex design, integration, and analytical problems for the U.S. Air Force. This position will require travel of up to 25% of the time.

You Have:
5 years of experience with leading efforts in a Military Operations Center, Command System Operations center, or Air Operations Center (AOC) and analyzing and authoring military policy development
1+ years of experience with medium to large scale exercise planning
Experience as a U.S. military officer - O-4 or above
Experience with 5th gen or RPA
Experience with leading large team efforts
Knowledge of current Air Force and Joint doctrines
Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a complex, dynamic environment
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or a technical field
Nice If You Have:
Experience in a Squadron level staff position
Experience with systems engineering
Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Master's degree
Professional Military Graduate or Service equivalent
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,100.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
