Procurement Specialist

Key Role:

Provide government procurement requirements support across all federal agencies. Support purchasing activities for all contract requirements to obtain competitive quotes and price analysis for purchasing actions under the micro-purchase threshold. Assist team members in securing competitive quotes for proposal effort and bills of material. Award purchase orders and P-Card transactions in accordance with Booz Allen policies and federal acquisition regulations (FARs). Assist with the negotiation of terms and conditions with suppliers and with the review and negotiation of license agreements. Handle multiple requirements in a high demand environment to meet critical deadlines. Provide guidance to client staff.

Basic Qualifications:

-1 year of experience with procurement or a professional work environment

-Experience with customer service

-Experience with adhering to established policies and procedures

-BA or BS degree or 2+ years of experience with procurement in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualification

-Experience with ensuring procurement documentation is compliant with all federal regulations governing records retention

-Experience in maintaining communications with suppliers during procurement
