Sustainment Civil Engineering Planning Analyst

As a Sustainment Civil Engineering (CE) planner, you will provide strategic planning analysis for sustainment of prepositioned equipment requirements. You'll utilize analytics and other advanced tools to develop and optimize solutions to storage and maintain equipment. You'll serve as a liaison between client, service components, bases, and other contracting representatives to advocate for storage and maintenance facility priorities. You'll also research or advise courses of action to capitalize on sustainment, restoration and modernization efforts, to facilities that house mechanized materials handling systems and storage aid systems.

You Have:  

  • Experience with Civil Engineering as a project or program manager in the DoD

  • Knowledge of master planning, deployment and distribution planning, and contracting

  • Knowledge of distribution management, materiel management, and contingency operations

  • Knowledge of Basic Expeditionary Airfield Resources (BEAR) assets

  • Knowledge of Mobile Aircraft Arresting System (MAAS) assets

  • Ability to think critically and analyze and solve complex problems

  • Ability to create effective information papers, emails, reports, and various types of briefings

  • Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience with working on Strategic Level military staff

  • Experience with working in joint, interagency, intergovernmental, or multinational environments and organizations

  • Experience with leading and participating in a Working Group or similar planning groups

  • Experience allocating resources and providing capabilities to units

  • Knowledge of the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process

  • Ability to present products to stakeholders and decision-makers to achieve key outcomes

  • Top Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; Master's degree a plus

  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Certification, Associate in Project Management Certification, or Certified Project Management Practitioner (CPMP) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
