Modeling and Simulation Engineer, Mid

The Challenge:

Your Modeling and Simulation (M&S) skills are needed to develop the cutting-edge technology used to support the warfighter and maintain national security. Join an energetic team whose day-to-day mission involves breaking down the DoD’s toughest challenges and communicating the essential results of that work to their leadership. As an engineer, you understand the power behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to modeling foreign threat systems. We’re looking for a problem solver who can use their skills to help perform detailed analyses, including the evaluation of the detectability of foreign systems and survivability analyses of weapon systems and platforms to be deployed in future combat scenarios. We’re looking for lifelong learners and motivated, independent thinkers who can lead a fast-paced, team environment focused on client delivery.

This is an opportunity to hone your and technical abilities on significant and current Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) M&S problems, all while gaining experience in leadership and communication. Our modeling and simulation team performs a variety of classified analyses of future weapon and platform concepts for DoD clients. We develop detailed models and simulations required for thorough analysis. You will work with paired layering models simulating subsystems that form the entirety of a system using technologies like MATLAB, Link 16, and DIS. You’ll directly impact the DoD’s mission by helping determine what tactics, techniques, and procedures improve survivability and vulnerability against foreign threat systems as well as helping make informed decisions for the future of defense operations.
