Common Intelligence Picture Manager

The Challenge:

Do you find yourself constantly looking for more and better information? Do you want a job where you can use your knowledge and research skills to improve national security? More connected devices, larger storage capacity, and faster connections have resulted in an explosion of available information. The problem facing the intelligence community (IC) is no longer how to get more data – it's understanding how to turn massive amounts of data into displayable answers. That's where you come in. With critical thinking and flexibility, you quickly identify, track and report on adversary conventional military activities in support of the client mission and turn it into valuable intelligence. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support our warfighters, protect our national security, and inform our nation's leaders.

As a common intelligence picture (CIP) manager analyst on our team, you'll maintain awareness and support, as required, of all client directed orders governing common intelligence picture (CIP) and common operational picture COP requirements. You’ll apply expertise in Indications and Warnings (I&W), operations, intelligence, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and collections to enhance the client's mission. As the CIP SME, you will serve as the client’s centralized point of contact and subject matter expert on all CIP-related matters, both internal and external to theater. Finally, you will provide training and technical support for adversary order of battle templating, CIP and COP-related intelligence systems used in client spaces. Develop and maintain SOPs and desktop procedures for creating and managing tracks in the analysts’ respective domain.

Empower change with us.

You Have:

  • 4+ years of experience with operational analysis at a COCOM level, including authoring intelligence products and risk assessments
  • Experience with using and uploading information to Modernized Integrated Database (MIDB) records and data maintenance
  • Experience with all-source intelligence processes, data evaluation, and analytical tools and databases
  • Experience with using Global Command and Control System (GCCS) and associated tools, including Analyst Workshop, MIDB, and Agile Client
  • Knowledge of adding, deleting and manipulating graphical overlays in anticipation of client needs, including modifying KML/XML overlays and ensure interoperability among Agile Client, Google Earth, and browser-based applications
  • Ability to support shift work, as needed
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with working on a 24/7 Watch Floor
  • Experience with advanced search techniques, information databases, data visualization, and related tools
  • Experience in Python and R
  • Knowledge of other intelligence disciplines, including signals intelligence (SIGINT), human intelligence (HUMINT), and geospatial intelligence (GEOINT)
  • MA or MS degree in International Affairs, Political Science, Foreign Area Studies, National Security Studies, Linguistics, Business, Library Science, or a related research field a plus

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
