Information System Security Manager, SME

Key Role:

Support an Air Force client through the operation, maintenance, and development of specialized command and control mission systems (C2MS). Apply knowledge of monitoring, analyzing, detecting, and responding to Cyber events and incidents in information systems and networks. Advise on an integrated, dynamic Cyber defense and leverage Cybersecurity solutions to deliver Cybersecurity operational services, including intrusion detection and prevention, situational awareness of network intrusions, security events and data spillage, and incident response actions. Test, implement, deploy, and operate the infrastructure hardware and software required to effectively manage the organization’s Cybersecurity operational services. Provide work leadership for junior employees. Coordinate and maintain security tool sets to support organizations’ continuous monitoring and ongoing authorization programs. Ensure all C2MS systems and solutions are approved and secure for operation on AF, USSOCOM, and other networks across the globe.

Basic Qualifications:

-3 years of experience in DoD or military service, providing Cybersecurity Risk Management Framework (RMF) and certification and accreditation processes

-Experience with RMF documentation, artifacts, products, and tools

-Experience with EITDR systems, artifacts, and products

-Experience with eMASS and Xacta, SNAP, and PPS

-Experience with writing policy and guidance

-Top Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree or 8+ years of experience in a professional work environment

-IASAE-1 (Information Assurance Architecture and Engineering level 1 Certification

-Formal DoD RMF (DoDRMF) training

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of AFSOC and USSOCOM missions
