The Opportunity:
As a systems engineer, you understand the workings behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to ensuring our military’s testing facilities are prepared to support innovative technology. We are looking for a systems engineer who can use their skills to help modernize facilities in compliance with local, state, and federal codes while supporting our country’s next generation of tactical weaponry.
You will use your engineering skills to transform Department of Defense (DoD) weapons testing. Our team is supporting modernization of facilities, energy, and infrastructure to rise to the challenge of the changing landscape around weapons testing. That is why we need you, a systems engineer, who can provide engineering technical direction for problem definition, design, requirements analysis, systems analysis, development, system-of-systems integration, acquisition planning, test and evaluation, mission or capability planning, reliability or maintainability of systems being developed for US Navy and energetic programs required to meet technical objectives. You Have:
Experience with solving complex systems engineering problems using standard methodologies
Experience with supporting the design, development, and review of systems engineering design artifacts, including Concepts of Operations (CONOPs), requirements analysis, interface design, system architecture development, and system performance analysis
Knowledge of local, state and federal codes and standards
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics or Mathematics
Nice If You Have:
Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Experience engineering with MEP construction drawing sets
Knowledge of directed energy weapons, energy storage and supporting infrastructure
Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,400.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
