Civil Engineering Engagements Planner, Senior

Key Role:

Serve as an Air Force client's program coordinator regarding engineer-specific theater security cooperation (TSC) operations, planning, and engagement. Analyze the engineer components of budgeting, scheduling, coordination, tracking, and integration of security cooperation efforts into long range country plans, including building partnerships, capacity, and interoperability with allies and partners. Synchronize engineer engagement programs with Combatant Command theater campaign plans (TCPs) and theater campaign orders (TCO), security cooperation plans, and other strategy documents to ensure client support for Air Force, combatant command, and U.S. national defense security priorities. Research, analyze, assess, and make recommendations on client’s Operations, Activities, and Investments (OAI) and how they tie in and support international engagements programs. Provide an assessment and roadmap for client’s strategic planning activities to support Agile Combat Employment (ACE) activities and engagements. Assist in developing, coordinating, and conducting actions to effectively support planning in support of Field Training Exercises (FTXs). Plan, program, and budget for OAIs in support of the client’s direction in foreign and allied countries.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of experience in military civil engineering
  • 2+ years of experience as a military planner or operations professional
  • 2+ years of experience on a Component or Combatant Command Staff
  • 2+ years of experience with exercise planning
  • Experience building partnerships, capacity, and interoperability with allies and partners
  • Knowledge of Operation Plans and Time-Phased Force and Deployment Data (TPFDD)
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple Service Components’ and Partner Nations’ staffs
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications: 

  • Experience serving the INDOPACOM area of responsibility (AOR)
  • Experience working cross-functionally using teamwork and collaboration across departments and commands
  • Experience with agile combat concepts such as the Pacific Air Forces’ ACE initiative, site surveys, infrastructure improvement, and prepositioning concepts across the AOR
  • Ability to combine mission expertise with a technical mindset to help solve clients’ priority challenges, including coordinating experimentation of new technologies
  • Ability to brief senior military leaders
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
