The Opportunity:  

As a project management specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need you, an experienced project management specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication. 

On our team, you’ll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of the US Navy. You’ll work with key stakeholders to review contracts and project cost accounting. You’ll help with tactical planning using resources like Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Project, and have regular interactions with engineers, scientist, and program leads.

You Have: 

  • 8+ years of experience with DoD operational, research, development, or intelligence organizations

  • 8+ years of experience with developing and supporting project management plans, phasing plans, program schedules, and statements of work

  • Experience with allocating resources to ensure projects are completed within time and budget

  • Experience with monitoring cost, schedule, and performance and reporting metrics

  • Experience with engaging with technical teams

  • Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Experience with technical writing and editing

  • Ability to provide clear communication to senior leadership, including program reporting, forecasting, and risk assessments

  • Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience with DoD operational, research, development, or intelligence organizations

  • 5+ years of experience with developing and supporting project management plans, phasing plans, program schedules, and statements of work

  • Experience with the design, development, and implementation of HPM or pulsed power systems, targets, or test assets for US Navy or other armed service applications

  • Possession of excellent data gathering, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; Master's degree a plus

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
