Key Role:
Advise and assist the Government Cybersecurity Architect on the maintenance and updates to an agency network infrastructure. Plan and execute changes to hardware and software while controlling and managing the life cycle of all network changes with minimum disruption to information system services. Develop, maintain, and update the agency Security Architecture Framework and related organizational process assets used by the agency to coordinate and integrate the IT and Cybersecurity activities throughout the greater agency complex. Identify, develop, and maintain the base artifacts required for the agency to meet minimum statutory requirements for Security Architecture, including policy established by the US government. Lead cybersecurity programmatic and technical evaluations, including site evaluations and inspections.
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of experience working in US government or DOE cybersecurity programs
Experience in applying cybersecurity concepts and cybersecurity architecture and engineering principles, security of networks, systems, applications, and data
Experience with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing
Knowledge of principles and techniques associated with cyberspace threats and offensive and defensive cyberspace operations
Knowledge of US government or DOE strategy
Ability to perform cyber analysis, design, and test of complex systems
Ability to analyze cyber resilience and survivability requirements, translate requirements into designs, implement designs, and test effectiveness
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Management, or Information Technology
Additional Qualifications:
Knowledge of security standards and information security and compliance frameworks, controls, and best practices, including SSAE 16, SOC 2 and SOC3, OWASP Top 10, SANS, and NIST
Knowledge of the NIST Risk Management Framework, processes, and best practices related to the management of information and technology risks
Master's degree in Engineering, Management, Information Technology, or a related field
Clearance:
