Cybersecurity Analyst, Senior

The Opportunity:

When our country’s cybersecurity is on the line, simply reacting is not enough, we need a plan. And when that plan needs to support our defense infrastructure, we need strategic policy assistance. That’s why we need you, a cybersecurity analyst with the expertise required to analyze the policies that determine our cyber resilience.

As a cybersecurity analyst on our team, you’ll support and monitor the implementation of policies and procedures to support information and privacy security goals and operations. You’ll develop changes in strategy to support new initiatives or required changes, and manage information security implications within the organization as directed by leadership. You’ll support the Plan of Action and Milestones process and ensure compliance with DoD and other directives and regulations. You’ll perform activities for data gathering and collection, verification, and analysis for Cyber scorecard reporting. You’ll prepare weekly and monthly Cyber scorecard metric reports. You'll leverage expertise in multiple technology areas and determine the applicability of compliance requirements as defined in cybersecurity task orders from higher headquarters to ensure organizational requirements are implemented and verified, and advance the development of a strategic cyber roadmaps.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience working in cybersecurity 
  • Experience with eMASS 
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel 
  • Secret clearance 
  • HS diploma or GED 
  • DoD 8570 Certification 

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Tenable Nessus 
  • Bachelor's degree in IT
  • 8570 IASAE Compliant Certifications 

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
