Operations Team Manager

Key Role:

Bring in-depth understanding and expertise to one or more aspects of service or joint missions, processes, and culture. Apply advanced military skills and extensive technical expertise, including full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Provides the client with integration support during planning and Current Operations (CUOPS) during execution of Warfighter Exercises. Lead three teams during development and planning of exercises in planning multiple warfighter exercises with deliverables of a Simulation Control Plan, Exercise Support Manning and Equipment Document, and capturing meeting minutes from all scheduled and unscheduled events during the Event Life Cycle. Provide additional support during the planning including updates to the rules and workaround book. During execution the Team lead is responsible to manage support to Blue Senior Control and the Work and Response Cell Controllers at each site. Coordinate logistics, site setup, at remote locations, Work Cell and Response Cell training and management, battle tracking, analysis of military operations in support of EXCON, and site breakdown.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Experience as a former Field Grade level or above
  • Experience serving in a key developmental position at Brigade or Division
  • Knowledge of Army and Joint doctrine
  • Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a complex, dynamic environment
  • Ability to work as a member of a larger team
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Graduate of Intermediate Level Education (MEL4)

Additional Qualifications: 

  • Experience as retired LTC (O-5) or above
  • Experience serving on a Division or Corps level staff position
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree
  • Graduate of a War College, including MEL1

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
