Model-Based System Engineer, Senior

Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. Share your expertise through leadership and mentoring, while broadening your skillset into areas like model-based systems engineering, architecture design and development, and requirements analysis. Grow your skills by merging systems engineering and digital transformation to create DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) views, capability viewpoints, operational viewpoints, project viewpoints, system viewpoints, data and information viewpoints, and standard viewpoints using modeling and simulation tools, including Rhapsody and Cameo. You Have: 

  • 3+ years of experience with systems engineering, including system architecture and design, requirements analysis and management, interface definition and management, verification and validation, or trade study design and execution

  • Experience with model-based systems engineering tools and processes

  • Experience with DoDAF

  • Experience with providing systems engineering support for DoD or IC programs

  • Ability to perform systems engineering services in all phases of a project life cycle

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree


Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience with SysML and Cameo Systems Modeler, Sparx Enterprise Architect, or IBM Rhapsody

  • Experience with providing systems engineering support in an Agile development environment

  • Knowledge of Agile tools, including JIRA and Confluence

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Secret clearance

  • Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Aerospace Engineering

  • INCOSE CSEP Certification, OCSMP Certification, or Agile Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
