Strategic Business Development Senior Manager

Key Role:

Work as a key lead in identifying and winning executable business for defense industry clients in the United Kingdom through applying expertise across the business development life cycle, from opportunity identification through execution. Leverage senior-level leadership and extensive community relationships within an industry based in defense industry and government clients. Leverage business development and functional expertise to build addressable market and increased analytical development work in strategic areas for growth. Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the client's senior management to comprehend their needs and link them to the organization's product or service strategies. Manage key stakeholder relationships, keep the business leadership team informed, and engage in advancing strategic partnerships with clients and industry partners.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience in Business Development and cybersecurity

-5+ years of experience with directly selling consulting service to defense industry clients in the United Kingdom

-Experience with defense industry procurement processes and frameworks

-Experience with successful execution of all phases of a large and multi-year capture effort, including strategic planning, teaming, proposals, market, or competitive and price-to-win analyses

-Ability to work as part of an integrated account and opportunity capture team in a matrixed organization with a collaboration and a team-centric culture

-Ability to engage key client stakeholders to discuss firm capabilities and services on several large-scale projects

-HS diploma or GED and 15+ years of experience in Business Development, or BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience working on solutions in an acquisition environment

-Experience with developing and maintaining effective internal and external business relationships with clients and industry partners

-Ability to show expertise in the business development life cycle and solution selling methodologies

-Ability to communicate multi-step and interdependent activities effectively to capture teams and ensure efficient execution of captured efforts
