Facility Security Officer

Key Role:

Serve as the Facility Security Officer managing industrial security program and security activities. Ensure compliance with DoD government and company security policies, requirements, and procedures, and maintain the overall accreditation posture. Review and investigate non-compliance issues. Provide security advice, guidance, and recommendations to all levels of client-facing staff. Manage program and administrative activities regarding security clearances for the organization's employees and advise management and personnel on issues. Coordinate and oversee critical aspects of the industrial security program, ensuring strict adherence to company protocols and government regulations, to include 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM Rule. Conduct security briefings, debriefings, and mandatory security training sessions. Manage classified meeting procedures and document control. Support employees in fulfilling reporting obligations and handle adverse reports in accordance with company policy and regulatory guidelines. Assist with ad hoc proposal security volume and DD254 reviews, and coordinate security support for classified contracts. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with database functions, including DISS and NISS
  • Experience managing classified facilities such as open storage areas
  • Knowledge of the 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM Rule, DD254s, self-inspections, adverse reporting requirements, clearance processing, classified meeting procedures, document control, and physical security protocols
  • Ability to enforce compliance requirements and thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
  • Top Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED and 8+ years of experience in Industrial Security, or Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in Industrial Security
  • Completion of CDSE Curriculum IS030.CU Course

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with ACCS
  • Experience as a Contractor Special Security Officer or Special Security Representative
  • Knowledge of Communications Security (COMSEC), SCIF Management practices, and SCI Nomination processes

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
