Job Description
Key Role:
Manage IT assets, including inventory management, asset tracking, asset deployment, software and license management, and asset disposal. Assist with daily review and approval of software and hardware purchase requisitions, asset capture and tracking, help desk support ticket review and resolution, software license deployment, and remote location visits, as required. Assist with continuing development and implementation of the asset management processes. Provide guidance and manage asset tracking for asset requirements firmwide. Work with program managers on providing asset disposition, assist with the accounting, tracking, managing, and final disposition action processes for hardware and software assets across the firm. Participate in audits and physical asset verification through the firms’ various locations. This position will require travel. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience with developing or implementing hardware and software asset management life cycle management processes and tools
3+ years of experience with asset management and accountability at the policy and guidance development level
Experience with developing guidance, reporting, and procedures following ITIL and ITAM asset management guidelines
Experience with hardware and software asset management
Knowledge of asset tracking, request, and workflow tools, including ServiceNow
Ability to manage project prioritization and planning, work independently and part of a team, and help in fostering communication amongst the team
Ability to roadmap strategic improvement of services, translate a tactical plan to ensure team success, and multi-task
Ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing needs and requirements
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with management or program analysis
2+ years of experience with developing and implementing asset management
Experience with hardware, software, and operational support requirements using industry standard practices
Experience with providing input and maintaining an asset management plan and operating procedures
Experiencing in collaborating and partnering with peers and service owners for end-to-end processes improvement accountability processes
Knowledge of Service Now IT Asset Management Applications
Possession of excellent analytical and time management skills
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
ITIL and ITAM Foundations Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,300.00 to $149,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
