Compensation Content Specialist, Senior

Key Role:  

Leverage expertise to design and maintain consistent compensation and recognition program policy and process documentation, including compliance, companywide communication, and training content. Lead the development, maintenance, and active storage of team process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process overviews, and important artifacts, such as Slick Sheets, FAQs, or job-aids. Review and determine opportunities to improve, enhance, or update documentation, communication, or training content aligned with department and company goals. Lead the creation of compensation and recognition program collateral, including communications, education, training, and intranet content. Support OFCCP and DCAA audits by producing and providing team members with information and copies of required documentation. Support compensation business partners or talent integrators for the delivery of created and existing training content and identify opportunities proactively to enhance content and experience. Manage projects, including the identification of all deliverables, milestones, timeline, and responsible parties and identify streamlining opportunities. Design, maintain, and administer compensation policies and guidelines that promote fairness, transparency, and employee satisfaction. Use a human-centered approach to create solutions that consider employee experience. Maintain and respond to questions and common requests effectively to the department compensation mailbox, resolving as appropriate or escalating to other team resources, as required. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:   

  • 3+ years of experience with developing and delivering internal communications and training content  

  • 3+ years of experience with documenting and maintaining system and non-system processes or program documentation 

  • Experience with using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint 

  • Experience with Human Resource technologies, including HRIS systems 

  • Knowledge of employment law, compensation management, salary planning, workforce analytics, and project administration 

  • Ability to think creatively, collaborate across multiple teams, and balance conflicting priorities 

  • Bachelor's degree  

  

Additional Qualifications:  

  • Experience with using Workday

  • Experience with developing and delivering standardized training content and developing internal communication plans and content 

  • Experience with creating and maintaining department policy and process documentation and conducting internal reviews to determine additional documentation requirements 

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including DCAA and dealing with DCAA or any regulatory body on compensation matters preferred   

  • Knowledge of Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and Service Contract Act (SCA) 

  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects or initiatives successfully and simultaneously and pivot quickly in a growth mindset  

  • Ability to customize verbal and written communications to fit with different audiences and communication channels at all levels of the organization

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
