Job Description
Key Role:
Creates and delivers timely and accurate information through the web, social media, and other communication channels with appropriate editorial style and voice. Support the project team in developing and creating content with a user centric approach, making products more intuitive, and easy to understand for the user. Applies basic principles, theories, concepts and industry best practices in copywriting, and content strategy. Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity and refer more complex issues to higher levels. Applies advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction and mentors and may supervise team members. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience creating content and content planning
- Experience working with SharePoint
- Experience with user research and user research methods
- Experience translating ideas and concepts into digital communication products, including talking points, PowerPoint presentations, articles, messaging to staff, and other communication products
- Knowledge of Accessibility design principles for 508 compliance
- Ability to develop new communication methods to reach target audiences
- Ability to collaborate with the product owner and liaise between the technical team and the client to establish a common understanding of requirements and design
- Ability to create and improve design solutions for applications that are based on user-centered design techniques
- Bachelor’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with designing wireframes, low and high-resolution concepts, and creating functional prototypes
- Knowledge of Information Architecture
- Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies
- Nielsen Norman Group UX Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,300.00 to $149,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
