The Opportunity:
Our Culture, Communications, and Engagement team is seeking an experienced Content Writer to write short form, long form, speeches, and video scripts that simplify the complexities of a diverse, growing business and inspire audiences to act.

As part of our team, you will apply conceptual, visual, and technical thinking to how stories come to life. You will write engaging brand narratives and content strategies that make you think about and feel something. You will participate in research to uncover deep, rich insights that feed the foundation for compelling concepts, strategies, and stories. You'll be the subject matter expert for style, voice, and message for your client’s work. You will partner with creative, strategy, and campaign leaders and design peers to consistently raise the bar for our creative development and execution. You'll champion your ideas and campaign for the ideas of others. You will create original, breakthrough work. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You have:
5+ years of experience in brand, content strategy, management, copywriting, and editing in an agency or in-house setting
Experience with writing that achieves objectives, is based on insights and deliver results
Experience with business, marketing, and audience research and analysis
Experience with client-facing work
Knowledge of self-editing and gathering input and feedback on your work early and often
Ability to produce clear, compelling copy along the creative spectrum and across a range of mediums and deliverables
Ability to share short and long-form writing samples
Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
