Corporate Strategy Leader

Key Role:

Lead the development of competitive, enterprise, and business-unit-focused strategies as part of both ongoing processes and performance-driven future opportunities. Guide executives through a process of assessing their served markets and relative competitive positions, analyze the strength of their portfolios, identify repositioning imperatives, and develop responsive strategies. Lead efforts to integrate insights from multiple industry stakeholder perspectives to generate actionable, value-creating enterprise strategies. Lead the discussion and evaluation of services versus a product organizational orientation and the roadmap to balance for future success. Support M&A and related transactions with key positioning and strategic analysis. Contribute to corporate and business strategic discussions with other senior executives and function as a “trusted advisor” to the firm’s leadership while ensuring that projects are effectively and efficiently managed. Build a lasting strategy capability for the firm, including the assembly of a team of staff needed to execute strategic analysis and execution functions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in a strategy management consultant or transformation expert role working with senior-level executive clients on complex organizational challenges

  • Experience with collaborating with clients to identify, clarify, and resolve complex issues critical to clients' strategic and operating success by developing insight, conducting independent analysis, developing conclusions, and providing implementation assistance as required

  • Experience with leading and supporting market and account planning activities in a management consulting and consulting services capacity

  • Experience with leading and managing project teams through the design, delivery, and implementation of complex organizational programs

  • Experience with working in strategy consulting within the government sector

  • Experience with M&A transactions for growth or transformational impact in the government sector

  • Ability to fully comprehend and leverage change management and transformation capabilities into measurable organizational change

  • Ability to lead the redesign of a business or organization’s focus to drive growth

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in working with both commercial and government clients

  • Ability to develop and sustain senior relationships

  • Ability to display a record of leading strategy engagements and efforts supporting government contracting firms

  • Ability to attract, hire, and develop strategy consulting talent

  • Possession of excellent analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Master's degree preferred

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $245,000 to $370,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
