Creative Director

Key Role:

Design, implement, and maintain organizational programs in support of corporate strategy. Apply advanced theories, principles and concepts and contribute to development of new principles and concepts. Lead development of solutions to highly complex problems. Work with wide latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Assume responsibility for supervision and development of first level supervisors and managers. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in an agency and corporate creative role, including brand, marketing, art, design, and digital

  • Experience leading the creative strategy and delivery of a modern agency that is increasingly digitally oriented and committed to driving extraordinary talent experiences

  • Ability to interpret opaque challenges from the business and deliver clear design solutions that are elegant, useful, and rigorously substantiated

  • Ability to inspire others, work collaboratively, and nurture creative talent to deliver the right mix of increasingly innovative, visual, and multimedia stories against an integrated content agenda and to ensure that all of it, regardless of format and channel, creates differentiation for our voice and EVP

  • Ability to demonstrate leadership and an understanding of the responsibilities of senior staff position, and build, manage, and sustain relationships with senior leadership, acting as a collaborator and go-to leader on creative development to support key priority themes and topics

  • Ability to problem-solve, be proactive, and oversee multiple project simultaneously, balancing competing priorities, and managing workloads to serve a diverse stakeholder group across a complex and matrixed organization

  • Ability to demonstrate a proven track record of pitching and winning new work

  • Ability to scope and manage budgets, resource allocation, and assist in annual planning effort

  • Ability to travel to meet client and agency needs 

  • Bachelors degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in leadership role

  • Experience building workflows with and between in-house and agency resources

  • Experience championing quality and process standards across a diverse stakeholder landscape and driving adherence to those standards

  • Knowledge of project management software

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $134,600.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
