Job Description
Key Role:
Lead the team in analyzing a variety of information and intelligence relevant to the threats to our industry’s systems, assets, and resources. Drive a threat-based security program that reaches across the firm’s many digital environments. Serve as liaison to the firm’s leadership, along with intelligence sharing partnerships interfacing with both government and professional associations. Comprehend technical intelligence analysis and serve as a technical intelligence resource supporting the firm. Plan, lead, and nurture process improvement initiatives with keen attention to detail while maintaining an understanding of the big picture to avoid potential conflicts. Lead or participate in approved studies and provide additional analysis in response to specific threats and cyber incidents. Lead the planning and implementation of intelligence initiatives and interface with senior management and executive leadership. Work closely with and manage junior analysts in a Cyber Fusion Center (CFC) environment, while playing a pivotal role in overall functional strategic planning.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with traditional intelligence, including Cybersecurity, threat intelligence, Hunt, Red Team, or penetration testing
Experience with collecting, analyzing, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources to document results and analyze findings to provide meaningful products
Experience with Cyber, computer network operations and manipulation, information operations or information warfare, or topical Cyber
Experience with conducting technical intelligence analysis and serving as a technical intelligence resource supporting internal clients
Knowledge of malware types, malware analysis tools and procedures, and how to report malware analysis output
Knowledge of Splunk, MISP, Intrusion Detection Systems, network protocols, and security tools, including Snort, Suricata, or Bro, or Yara
Ability to write high-quality intelligence assessments and briefings for a senior executive audience, work remotely, as required, and manage requirements as a senior analyst
Ability to develop specific expertise, discern patterns of complex threat actor behavior, and communicate comprehension of current and developing Cyber threats
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor's degree in Information Security or CS or 8+ years of experience with working in Cybersecurity in lieu of a degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with defining complex issues despite incomplete or ambiguous information clearly
Experience with building out and running intelligence initiatives
Knowledge of scripting languages, API functionality, and data access methodologies
Ability to operate in a fast-paced work environment, multi-task, and handle truncated delivery deadlines
Ability to work closely with and mentor junior analysts in a CFC environment
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Master's degree in CS, Information Systems, or a related field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
