Cybersecurity Risk Management Architect

The Opportunity:

Everyone knows risk management processes are a part of a mature security program - you actually know how to create and manage these processes. You can identify and consult on ways to reduce risk using standardized solutions to reduce their attack surface. What if you could use your cyber risk management skills to enable these processes in a corporate environment responsible for many complex clients?

We’re looking for a Cybersecurity Risk Management Architect who can work with others to reduce risk through robust processes that leverages GRC technology to maximize efficiency. As a Cybersecurity Risk Management Architect at Booz Allen, you’ll optimize and automate cybersecurity risk management processes. This role requires a blend of technical cybersecurity expertise, risk assessment skills, and a process improvement mindset. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Booz Allen enterprise operations and client-facing teams to ensure alignment and application of practices that support business goals and meet defined policies and standards for enterprise cybersecurity.

You have:

  • Experience in the design, execution, and maintenance of risk evaluation methods, using established risk and associated threat models, incorporating best practices related to evaluating, treating and approving risk-based issues in an organization

  • Experience in GRC technology to streamline and automate risk management processes, promoting efficiency and data-driven decision-making through tools such as Archer or ServiceNow

  • Experience developing risk-based metrics that tell the cybersecurity risk story for multiple levels within the organization, including technical and non-technical teams

  • Knowledge of cloud security principles and compliance across major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity risk frameworks such as government regulatory landscape, NIST special publications, CMMC, or ISO

  • Knowledge of cyber risk management, frameworks and enterprise threat scenarios

  • Ability to evaluate cybersecurity controls to ensure effectiveness, compliance and adherence to key controls and policies and drive remediation efforts through innovative security risk assessment processes, policies, and automation

  • Ability to evaluate and propose compensating controls to mitigate identified risks within technical architectures, in conjunction with established architectural standards or partnering with appropriate subject matter experts

  • Bachelor's degree​

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
