Job Description
Key Role:
Support the design, development, and implementation of a Dashboard built on the Elastic Stack platform. Navigate the Elastic Stack to provide support by resolving potential issues with access, renderings, and system performance. Implement and configure out of the box Kibana visualizations. Apply data extraction and representation methodologies for data visualization. Perform data analysis within the Elastic Stack. Configure and integrate, and maintain Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Splunk applications in client environments. Configure, maintain, and potentially enhance data solutions and structure queries to optimize system performance and efficiency.
Basic Qualifications:
1+ years of experience with IT or software engineering
Experience with development, configuration, deployment, integration, and maintenance of production systems using technologies, including Elasticsearch and Kibana
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
1+ years of experience with Elastic Stack-based data analysis
Experience with implementing Elasticsearch data ingest pipelines, enrichment policies, and painless scripting
Experience with development and deployment of Python scripts and Splunk, including configuration, integration, and maintenance of Splunk
Experience with APIs
Experience with executing Elasticsearch data retention and life cycle management plans
Bachelor's degree in IT Security, Engineering, or a related field
Elastic Engineer Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,400.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
