The Opportunity:
As the Data Quality Lead, you will use your proven track record of successfully establishing and leading data quality programs from the ground up to play a pivotal role in ensuring the organization's ability to effectively manage the quality of data in with our broader data management initiatives. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
How You'll Contribute:
- Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive data quality program, including defining data quality standards, metrics, processes, and procedures.
- Establish a data quality maturity roadmap and communicate progress along that roadmap to senior leadership.
- Ownership and oversight to develop, deliver, and refine the data quality strategy to advance the enterprise’s data quality practices.
- Lead the development and adoption of enterprise-wide data quality frameworks and standards.
- Articulate procedures to ensure data quality best practices are implemented across the organization.
- Build a data quality culture across the organization through training, change management, or dashboards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data quality issues, root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead the design and implementation of data quality tools, technologies, and best practices to monitor and improve data quality throughout the data lifecycle.
- Work closely with data stewards, business analysts, and data owners to establish data quality rules, validations, and controls.
- Establish and maintain data quality dashboards and reports to monitor progress, trends, and compliance with data quality objectives.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data quality team members, fostering a culture of data quality excellence.
- Collaborate with the data governance team to ensure alignment between data quality initiatives and the overall data governance framework.
- Leverage expertise in enterprise data architectures and quality management fundamentals to drive continuous improvement in data quality processes.
- Stay current with industry trends, advancements in data quality techniques, and best practices, and apply them to enhance the organization's data quality program.

You Have:
- 7+ years of experience in data quality management
- Experience in aligning data quality initiatives with larger data management strategies and objectives
- Experience with data governance frameworks, including Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBOK)
- Experience with data quality tools and technologies, including data profiling and cleansing techniques
- Knowledge of data management principles, best practices, and industry standards
- Knowledge of enterprise data architectures, data governance, and data management frameworks
- Knowledge of the differences between proactive, reactive, and preventative data quality
- Knowledge of the difference between quality assurance, quality control, and how they apply in a data environment
- Ability to build and lead data quality programs from inception to execution
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or Business Analytics

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
