ESG Reporting Senior Manager

Key Role:

Utilize expertise to coordinate, manage, and support the organization’s corporate governance and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements. Apply advanced theories, principles, and concepts. Contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Lead the development of solutions to highly complex problems. Work with wide latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Be responsible for the supervision and development of first-level Supervisors and Managers. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in ESG reporting, sustainability, or related roles within a publicly traded company.
  • Experience with producing and publishing regular ESG reports in accordance with relevant regulatory frameworks
  • Experience with coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to communicate ESG performance and progress
  • Experience with supporting the external assurance process of ESG data
  • Experience with managing ESG materiality assessments and engaging with third-party ESG raters
  • Experience with collaborating with and managing diverse cross-functional teams to provide integrated and durable solutions
  • Knowledge of ESG frameworks, including GRI, ISSB/SASB, TCFD, and CDP and reporting standards
  • Knowledge of ESG developments, in sustainability regulations, reporting frameworks, standards, and themes, including net zero, circularity, or sustainable supply chains
  • Experience using sustainability reporting software tools - knowledge of Workiva ESG Reporting Platform preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience working directly with senior executive leadership, governing boards, and technologists
  • Experience in supervising and managing ESG and sustainability initiatives
  • Experience with developing comprehensive, business-oriented solutions to challenging problems
  • Experience with developing and advancing strategies to engage employees and leadership to support internal and external business priorities
  • Ability to lead and influence across all levels of the organization, and worldwide
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, drive change, bring clarity, and influence others
  • Ability to work independently, applying analytical evaluation and solving non-recurring problems
  • Ability to work through complex problems
  • Sustainability Certification, including GRI, SASB’s Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting credential, or certified public accountant (CPA)

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $134,600.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
