Earned Value Management Cost Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Support project teams in ongoing Earned Value Management (EVM) operations and production of EVM deliverables. Manage project financials utilizing Deltek Cobra. Integrate and analyze project data, produce IPMR/IPMDAR deliverables, and support baseline implementation. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.


Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a professional work environment
  • 3+ years of experience with EVM and cost control
  • Experience with Deltek COBRA to produce IPMR/IPMDAR deliverables
  • Experience with scheduling, finance, program management, and program control
  • Experience in applying formulas and pivot tables to large data sets in Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree


Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with reconciling large data sets across multiple systems, identifying trends, analyzing variances, thinking critically, and problem solving
  • Knowledge of EVM principles, methodologies, and best practices
  • Ability to lead with minimal oversight, take ownership of day-to-day processes, collaborate, recognize risks to escalate issues as appropriate, and accomplish tasks
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail and accuracy in performing calculations, tracking project expenses, and ensuring data integrity
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,100.00 to $119,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
